One Stop Shop & Chat 'n' Connect Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (NNC) hosts weekly on Thursdays One Stop Shop, bringing together a hub of essential services including Centrelink, Haymarket Foundation, Marrickville Legal Centre and Orange Sky Laundry, who can provide face-to-face assistance to all members of the community.
Chat 'n' Connect provides a safe space where community members can gather a chat over a free coffee and tea in the community courtyard during One Stop Shop, from 2 - 4pm. Learn more > |
English and Literacy ClassOur free English and Literacy classes with Cliff and Sue run on Monday and Wednesdays from 10.30 to 12pm. This class is held in the Rainbow Room and is open to anyone. No registration is required but attendance is recorded.
We also partner with English.As.Anything who run free classes on Monday evenings from 5pm to 7pm catering to beginner, intermediate and advanced students. For any enquiries please call 9564 7333 or email communitystrengthening@newtowncentre.org. |
SMART RecoverySMART Recovery is a FREE group program for teens & young adults (16-24 yrs) experiencing challenges with addictive behaviour including: vaping, drugs, alcohol, gambling, food, gaming etc.

Paint Inner West ReadNewtown Neighbourhood Centre is a proud partner of the early literacy program, Paint Inner West REaD.
